Venture Girls/ Venture Boys (Spring Program)

Science Venture is offering two unique Saturday hands-on science & technology clubs:

Venture Girls

Venture Girls is a unique opportunity for young women in grades 3 to 6 to learn about science and engineering alongside their peers in a safe and fun environment. The club meets on Saturdays throughout the winter, where they will participate in hands-on projects, experiments, games, guest speakers, and a community action project.

• Junior (Gr.3/4); Intermediate (Gr.5/6)

Venture Boys

Venture boys is an opportunity for boys in Gr. 3-6 to explore science, engineering, and technology through hands-on experiments, building projects, lab tours, and guest speakers.  Participants will have the chance to use Lego Mindstorms and Snap Circuits.  

• Junior (Gr.3/4); Intermediate (Gr.5/6)

When are the club dates?

The 8 sessions will run from 1:30-3:30 pm on the following Saturday's:

• April 14, 21, 28; May 5, 12, 26; June 2, 9 (no session May 19)

What is the cost?

The cost is $75/8 sessions.

Where do clubs take place?

Venture Girls and Venture Boys take place at the University of Victoria.  Sign-In/Out is located in the Engineering Lab Wing Lobby. Meter parking is available just outside the building in Parking Lot A.  Parking passes for free 20 minute drop-off/pick-up are available for Parking Lot 1 - in the General (BLUE) section.  Download parking pass here.
